I opened this bottle and then let it sit for several hours before tasting. This is a well made MSD from BC. Today this wine has dark fruit flavours ...mostly ripe black cherries. It has a pleasant sweetness with a strong imprint from the tannins on the back of the palate. Evolving well will re taste at the 10yr mark.

Just opened another bottle to assess it's progress and drinkability. Takes about 30 minutes to open up and reveal its capabilities. Medium red, good acidity, slight fruit nose. This seems to have a viscosity to it that adds a perceived weight on the palate. There is good sweetness to this wine. Great red berry flavours /more raspberry, light cherry, moderate length. Gets fatter each glass you drink. Easy wine to finish. Great village . A well made wine! As these age i am getting more fond of this wine from Bruno Clair

From glass. Quite a bowl of tobacco and fruit. Cran, red berries, radishes. Breadth and depth. Promising. Second whiff adding cured and darker fruit elements. Delicious for sure on the palate, which while consistent with nose, was overall darker, with more char - especially on the finish. But finishing somewhat, *somewhat* hollow. Expressive and fully pleasurable, some will find this nonetheless too easy of texture. No perceptible tannin here at all; could I have tasted this on its third or fourth day?

A medium bodied, ,lighter coloured red wine. Initial taste was of light red fruit. Soft tannins, good acidity. This was a bit astringent to start . Left in the bottle for about an hour after which it opened up tremendously and was better with ever glass. Feels like a wine made from young vines? Will have to check the Bruno Clair web site. Opened to see how it is evolving. This surprised me in how well it was drinking at such an early stage. Looking forward to aging this MSD. Great effort from Bruno Clair for a village wine situated above Clos de Tart and Clos de Lambrays. Maybe the terroir is worthy of the prices for this village?

Hmm, this didn't age so well. The liqueur note has overwhelmed and it comes off a bit too pruney. Nicely textured and solid acidity, but just ok.
