Very nice villages wine. Light spice nose leads to sweet cherry flavors with light acidity and a short minerally but tasty finish. Not a blockbuster Burgundy wine, but compared to some higher priced efforts the pinot quality here is hard to beat. Everthing seems to be in good balance with this wine. This wine and its white cousin in the En la Rue de Vergy vineyard have no soil to speak of, just limestone rocks which give this wine that minerality we all love with Burgundy.

Served at K&L at a wine tasting: quick notes: lots of spice on the nose mixed with sweet dried cranberries; light on the palate with some smoke and a short finish. Fair.
