Didnt really know what to expect from a chinese wine. Not bad. Very dry and tannic. Deep dark plum in colour. A little spicy. Lacks the more complex body of a Bordeaux which is the style it tries to mimic. Expensive for the quality.

56th TWIGS Meeting (KC and Molly's place): Served blind. Cork. 13.5% alc. Mid-dark garnet. Spicy, cedar, herbal, peppery nose. Palate is fine and long. Medium bodied. There’s mint and dark berry fruits. Clean, fresh. Smooth tannins and fine acid combine well to add elegance. Drinks so well now and could easily hold for a few more years. Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Merlot 30%.

No 7, clear medium ruby with a narrow vague brownish rim. Red bean on the nose and a hint of green bell pepper, medium+ body, medium acidity, bitter touch(14%), medium+ coating heavy fine tannin. Medium red bean and green bell pepper. Hot finish and a delicate oakyness.
