Burnt red, bright nose faded quickly, unitary flavor with forest aspect, but again faded; this aged too long, cork was beginning to decay; didn't finish bottle

Dry earth and black fruit nose with a touch of lead pencil and barnyard. Meaty - needs more time? Seems Merlot based given some of the light metallic and vegetal flavors. Might smooth out but probably not.
