Still extremly youthful! Must have been stored perfectly! Far from peaking.
Plentiful effervescence. Perfectly golden color.
Weak nose of yeast and carbondioxide and rasberry sugar sweets,
Acidicity slightly on the high side, but once again balanced by a, perceived, even higher dosage. Very refreshing, like an ice cold softdrink on a hot summers day.
Everything about this wine seems a bit introverted and ungenerous with not even the slightest hint of any secondary maturity. I should have cellared this longer.
All considered, it was a slight disappointment.

BYOB Tasting Menu Meritage (Meritage, St. Paul): Light gold color. PNP. Drank 2+ glasses over 40 minutes. This was stunning, far better than I ever imagined. This stood up to everything we did in a recent 2002 Champagne tasting. Nose was effusive and fresh, with almonds initially, giving way to toast, white wispy florals, perfumed, apple, and later tangerine, crisp minerality. The palate follows suit beautifully with a core of citrus bolstered by apple and pear, crisp and impeccably clean with focused minerality, toast, lifted, very long finish. This one had me giddy. 95+pts and my WOTN amongst some stellar wines.

Nice nose of fresh dough, hint of citrus. Crisp palate with a dry finish adding mild apple and citrus notes and lengthy cream and mineral charcter. Very solid offering.

Lovely fresh champagne with a decent fruit. Elegant and nice. Linnen and citrus. Nice.
