Undrinkable on the first night due to the acidity. It came together by the second night. Remained a little high acidity. Smooth, sweaty. A bit soapy. It was worse than the score suggests but the real score would be unfair as this was invevitably over the hill. Just a little experiment.

Smells of a damp dog that had been living in an Irish bog for 6 months. Taste was like the very same dog had been washed down and the bath water bottled. Not the first time I have had a flawed bottle from the producer.

Garnet in color. Early notes of cassis, cherry and vanilla on the nose give way to green pepper after an hour in the glass. Somewhat acidic, but otherwise balanced in the mouth. Not intense or persistent, but pleasant drinking. Best with food.
