Sydney MW Summer School; 1/26/2002-1/27/2002 (Sydney Airport Stamford Hotel): There’s a distinct brick/brown note here; the first in the line-up. The palate is restrained, but can’t conceal a dirty, almost medicinal note. The palate seems built on brett a bit; not much actual fruit but some gritty tannins, old oak flavours and a slight oxidative note. Hmm.
