  BYOB dinner NOTK (Supernova hotel, Rotterdam): [Tasted blind] Almost dark gold in color, so I was afraid it was gone, but although probably past its peak still very good and interesting. Sherry notes, white port, marmelade, honey, apple syrup. Good acidity, long finish. Still two left in the cellar, shouldn’t wait too long

  Dark gold color, distinctive nutty nose, mid weight to mid weight plus silky mouth feel. Strong nut flavors (pecan, walnut?), including the bitter aspect, hints of orange/orange blossom. Overall profile was interesting and somewhat unusual. I didn't dislike it, but not my favorite.
