Fruit and tannin are well balanced and compliment each other with great length. The higher acid still stands out a little but it suits my preference. Pear, butter, toast. Drinking well now and at least another 3 years. Bought lots of ‘13, ‘14 and ‘15 at auction. This is my preferred vintage right now but I suspect the ‘15 will shine later. Don’t serve too cold (not less than 12C) and gets better with time to breathe.

Appearance: medium gold Nose: medium plus intensity; aromas of wet pebble, wet wool, brioche, cream, toast, peach, honey, a little marzipan. It’s developing. Palate: dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity, apricot and toast come through. The finish is medium plus. Overall, it’s a very good wine. Can drink now but has potential for short term ageing. The wine has vibrant acidity with lovely toasty notes. The flavour intensity is great and the finish is impressive. Good medium price point choice.

Not sure about this. Lemon and citrus fighting with cashew. The balance is lacking. Given the glowing reviews from the pros, I hope this is just an odd bottle for me. I've loved other vintages, but not this one.

This bottle was drinkable - though definitely past its best and on the decline. Drink up - my last bottle will go this week sometime.

This bottle was more like my first from 2019. Out of balance and ageing quickly. I will drink up my remaining bottles asap.
