High intensity wine with lovely plum and berry flavors, layers of minerality, mocha, and spice. Terrific complex palate with long finish for a merlot. Will be looking for more. Recommend at least a 2-hour decanting.

Fantastic Merlo from Beringer. Great complexity, multiple layers of flavors. What a delight it is! It is fruit forward which is typical to Merlot and this one is special as we ended up tasting this during the private tasting at the winery. In mid-palate you get notes of berries, and vanilla. Ends with supple tannins (for Merlot) but it is different and great!
