Deep cherry red color fading to a pink rim. Nose of raspberry, Forest floor, and sweet spices. Palate is medium-to-full-bodied, dry, with medium rustic tannins that dry the gums and a short aftertaste. This is an easy-drinking, wine made from an obscure Piedmont grape. Worth the experience, but I won't seek it out again. Drink now as it hollowed out a mere 30-45 minutes after opening.

{ #TasteAltoPiemonte } 100% Vespolina, only sees stainless steel/Inox, with a short period in the bottle before release. Nose is a bit of hard candy/jolly rancher, a bit high-toned. Young and assertive on the palate, as it should be, it's also fairly simple; a wine for the table, and a good value, so it's easily recommended, thru 2020, 13,0% abv.
