Pleasant bouquet with barnyard and earthy impressions. On the palate the same impressions. A touch of sweetness in the start, juicy red berries and slightly sticky tannin. Good wine.

The classico has fruit from three different vineyard sites in Barolo zone - La Morra, Novello e Monforte d’Alba, the color presents as a classic garnet. The nose is pretty, with perfumes of flowers, and a lightly candied red fruit aspect, some soil. Average attack, avg weight, med+ acidity, tannins sticking out a little. The finish climbs upward as if it's going to gain some strength, then the it falls off nearly as quickly. Not much happening/memorable today. 14,0% abv. NR
