I’m contrast to prior reviews three years later this is drinking beautifully. Soft but still balanced tannins and lovely fruit up front. Blueberry and tobacco notes dominate. Great on its own or with food.

quite anonymous Negroamaro if compared to others from local producers. Maybe the influence of the owner (antinori) has deprived this Maime of its intrinsic characters of the grapes. More similar to a red wine from wherever than to a Negroamaro. The day after it gets immediate oxidation where other Negroamaro do not. It is a matter of how the wine in made. Never again
