Really great nose, a burst of white, floral aromatics
Palate showed some evolution over the time of drinking and begat fresh lemon buoyed by quick acidity. Also flavors of lush creaminess without the body being too slick or heavy.

Medium lemon colour. Medium nose with roses, wax, pineapple, mango, peach, charred wood and minerals. Pronounced taste with peach, pineapple, mango, charred wood, wax, sea salt, toasted bread and minerals. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium body. A very good and floral Roussanne with a creamy mouthfeel. Goes well with sushi, shellfish or spicy food.

Beaucastel cuttings. Man that has a funky, but intriguing nose. A "charged" electrical green thing on the nose. Bright and focused and clean acids. Super interesting.

Cloudy, deep golden color. Has a nice aroma, honey/almondmilk. A little reductive and closed on the palate, a hint of something like faded soda water, freshness is not where it should be and there's something going on with the malolactic balance that gives you a hint of yoghurt. In short: this is nothing at all like the brilliant 2014 L'Avion Roussanne (which I think is from the same Ballard Canyon vineyard) that I tried a week ago. Right now, not that much fun, but maybe it can work itself out? not sure though.
