Even worse than February's bottle which I didn't like. Butterscotch candy color and flavor (you know, those gold round pillow shaped ones in the bright gold wrapper) with tragically low acidity. Undrinkable.

Not rating as this is my first Roussanne, and don’t have context for comparison. This was as close to drinking a stick of butter as I’ve experienced with any bottle of wine. Gold color, nose was muted with floral apricot, and mustard notes. Not my style at all.
WGMCCALLUM's note in 2021 still describes this perfectly: "Pale gold. Rich aromas of almonds, dried apricots, vanilla, with a hint of sherry. Rich honied fruit on the palate, and full-bodied with a touch of sweetness, light acids, long finish. 13.5% alcohol. Fleshy but with spine." Interesting to know that what tasted like a very evolved wine actually hasn't changed much since birth.
