Felt pretty tight and masculine with rich tertiary features and firmly structured body. Medium garnet red colour fading towards rim with orange hue. Medium intensity complex aroma of leather, dry leaves, cherry pit, dusty rubble, spices, gamey and dried petal hints. Medium body, tight and dry with cherry pit bitterish earthy and delicately smoky notes, some tar flavours as well covered with well integrated firm and grippy sandy tannins along salty tinges at the medium length finish.

I bit blown away by this. Found it absolutely stunning - real depth of fruit flavour and completely in balance. Many brunellos I find too high acid or too thin. This was superb. My first of the case and I’m writing this note some time after drinking it so will leave a better note next time - and really looking forward to having this again.

Breathe in bottle for 80 minutes or so. Cherry, raspberry jam, a bit orange peel, leather and sous bois on nose, quite rich but not opulent on palate, very solid and the finish is not hot at all. 92 now, might improve. According to export manager, this is their "Yang" as opposed to "Ying" (Brunello Fiore)

Love the open, pretty aromatics, flowers, forest floor, underbrush, balsamic sour cherry, and crushed raspberry. Deeper on the palate moving towards dark fruits but with enough fresh lively acidity that extends the finish. Fantastic.

Good>Very good. Have tasted this two separate times now with consistent results. This low-production (9,000 bottles) wine was made with a careful selection - it shows in the color, aromas, flavors, and (considering the vintage), even some elegance. Inside, there's some raw material that's a bit large-scaled today, but I think with a few years of rest in the cellar, this will have become more harmonious, and will have moved solidly into the very good camp. highly recommended
