Opened for over two hours, finally improving. I think we held this one too long. It does have cherry flavor, would have been quite tasty a year or so earlier. Swirling the wine does improve keep improving it, good thing since we have more.

(PANTHER CREEK SHEA PINOT NOIR) #2; COLOR-dark for P/N; NOSE-minty fresh, little stinky, black currant w/ pencil shavings, sour cherry reduction sauce; TASTE-this is Kick Ass wine!!, very rich, explosive, nice Asian spice, white & black pepper, a polished fruit bomb on the finish, but structured, sour cherry reduction mixed w/ jalapeno pepper, little subtle dirt, extremely well-made, This is an absolute STEAL at $36!!; PR-91; GV-92+

A sweet nose with fairly dark color. Pretty deep flavors of black cherry and some spice.
