World's Greatest - Night I (Eleven Madison Park): Definitely the quietest nose of the three Raveneaus, ripe yellow orchard fruit, a snicker of oxidation, warm and ripe. Candied yellow citrus. This palate is flavorful but lacks the density and richness of both Blanchot and Valmur, unfortunately. Still fairly mouth coating.

Honey, spice and wet rocks on the nose. A heavier wine but also shallower than the Valmur, the palate overall finish could not compete with the Valmur.

from an outstanding looking bottle, this wine had an awesome looking deep yellow center and clear rims. While restrained at first, the high intensity nose showed classic Raveneau notes of citrus, honey, almond paste, white stone, and just the right amount of toffee.
In the mouth, this wine is rich and ripe but massive and steely. It had that classic Raveneau "wall of acidity" that made the finish go on and on. Even after 4 hours of decanting it seemed to be picking up steam. I started detecting additional notes of almond paste. Wow!
While this will easily last for many years, I believe it is in an optimum spot for drinking. There are not many whites better than this.

Stony and pure nose - lovely. On the palate this has real density and grip - huge grip, actually... wow! Great complexity and length, and might even make me change my lack of enthusiasm for Chablis!
