Medium bloody water color. Intense red cherries on the nose with strong alcohol. Mixed red cherry and blackberry notes with a gentle sweetness that comes across as unexpected and a little jarring (but not at all unpleasant). The alcohol really makes itself felt. There is a sense of chalkiness in the soft texture that I am guessing is a direct effect of the Israeli lieu-dit, but that’s just a guess. Pleasant and interesting.
