  Still very lean and young four years since my last note. Definitely not to be drunk yet. Bright citrus and green apple, mild leesy flavors, no brioche just right high acid fruit. It has a bit more complexity than earlier but not yet.

  Very fine mousse, great nose of minerals and brioche. Richer than most Gimmonet Champagnes. Notes of apple strudel and grapefruit.

Showing a bit of maturity but given the vintage I sort of expected something slighter and more advanced. Especially given this was disgorged in April 2016. Another data point to Chardonnay having a good vintage almost every year in Champagne. That all said this is good but not great. Like a nice Chablis with sparkling and a touch of dosage. Would be a great companion for a nice seafood dinner. It's a clear message for me to keep aging my bottlings of this from better vintages. Five years under cork and it's drinking fine and young. Good stuff.

  Börjar uppvisa mognadstoner. Mineraliteten är tydlig - våt ull. Härlig balans mellan syra och sötma. Det finns autolytiska toner som får mig att tro den skulle passa till ostron. Utmärkt just nu.
