  Med garnet
  Med nose of red fruit, red tart cherry, red plum, some strawberry jam. Oak spice, leather and old wood
  High acidity, high dry tannins, med+ body
  Flavours of ripe cherry, plum skin, some strawberry jam, leather, cedar, some dry cacao
  Good balance, good intensity (could be more), great length, and lacking a little complexity for a Barolo of this age.

Hmmm..... this was actually less compelling than the '17 Nebbiolo D'Alba we tasted prior. Very pale in color, not much in the aromatics. Tastes very mild and light - not objectionable just barely there. This would be a pass for me.
