Very perfumed, all the typical Condrieu aromatics and flavours - particularly peach skin and stone - with some bright citrus peel too. Broad in feel and low in acidity, though without much feeling of heat. Just a touch too aromatic to be a good match for tonight's gammon, but a pleasant digestif.

A really lovely condriue. Very soft and silky, perhaps lacking in a cut or verve early on. Despite that it’s only 13% so doesn’t get cloying or too much. It’s rich and yellow fruited with usual pear, lychee and flower notes with a slight dripping of honey. After some time it does pick up some back end spice and zip. Rather decent

Lemon, honeysuckle and other flowers combined with a good mineralic grip makes this a more than excellent Condrieu. Not as HUGE as some Gangloff Condrieus but therefore more precise. I still would enjoy it over the first years of its life, but this will evolve slowly.

Honey and floral notes but enough acidity and ripe apple to ensure it is not cloying.
