Nose: apricot, fig, brioche, vanilla, wild berries, honey, red fruits, peach Notes: this wine gives the feeling of very fine and vintaged balsamic vinegar with excellent acidity accompanied by a stunningly smooth palate. This wine expresses fine red fruits with hints of wild berries, the aftertaste is long and silky and I consider this amongst one of the best Champagne I've had. Interestingly this wine, given its age, has less bubbles than I would anticipate so I think it is a little advanced considering this vintage. The nose is amazing and the palate is even better. This wine is quite ready for consumption and I think it shall remain so for the next 6-8 years. Drink: now - 2035 Rating: 95

My first and probably only VVF. Rich, almost earthy in character, its presence was substantial. Caramel-like aromas increased as it warmed. Altogether an intoxicating experience, appreciated more for its history than its price, that is certain.

PnP, could have used decanting. Beautifully balanced, dark golden hue, vintage medium-ripeness, fresh on the nose but rich in substance. Layers building up with time, will be great. 95+

It's the palate that gets you. So rich so long. A wonderful expression
