  • Same vintage after 3 years. Now it seems more pronounced and richer with already approachable tannins. Pale and bright ruby red. Medium intensity aroma of cherries, rose petals, lavender, earth, strawberry and tobacco hints. Medium body, entry is packed with bright acidity which rapidly mellows down and blends with elegant texture, fruity and spiced flavours, structured sandy tannins. Feels very open, not as complex and dont believe it will evolve much further, therefore have it now or in next few years.

  • I think this wine was better for me, than the other notes indicate. It is still thigh in middle and a bit lean in the aftertaste, but the rest is very well made and a couple of year will do it well. The fruit should be ok.

Respectable generic blend from a difficult vintage.

  • A decent Barolo with a fairly cheap price tag. A little weak Barolo. All the classic notes of fresh red fruit, plums, rose leafs, tobacco and vanilla - everything just seems a little muffled down, closed and muted. Weather this wine is in a weak stage right now and should be "sleeping" 5 years more in cellar is hard to tell. But I wouldn't spend 35 Euro on a wine just to wait 5 years to see. Decent wine with a fair price but not something I would recommend buying.
