This wine was fully mature. Everything came together. Rose petal and raspberry on nose, with red fruits and fully resolved tannin on palate. Very smooth. Served with pork roast and mushroom gravy.

Aging beautifully. Integrated tannin, fruit and vanilla aromatics shows how reliably cellar worthy Barolo can be. Serve it to those Washington types who will ask you the price. Tell 'em $40 bucks - ten years ago

Last tasted over two years ago. It has a brownish rim; reddish ruby color; some bricking. I still get black cherry, black tea, hints of tar and some oak. Quite an acidic bite on the tongue from the tannin. It still has some fruit left, but the tannins are probably going to very eventually out last the fruit. Its OK now, but the QPR is not in the buyer's favor on this wine. Better with food - this time a lamb and pasta dish.
