  Green eucalyptus on nose, tobacco finish. Good acidity, Tasted at winery

  From MG. Very elegant, very young. The fruit is up front here, tannin quite discrete - albeit present. This is the modern Verzio, much more restrained. The vintage speaks as well, quite approachable even from this format.

There's a softness to the wine, the tannins are very fine. Also an intensity to the wine. Darker red currants. Hint of sour that balances the fruit. A bit more complexity. It's a very young wine (and unlike some of the other '14s we've had I wouldn't say this is really all that ready for business). Interesting though.
