If I recall the label correctly, this was topped up one year and left under the veil for two. In any case, it was spectacular, by far the best Tissot I have had. Wow.

So good. Though, you have to enjoy oxidative wines. Amazing nutty, umami component, that works so well with the acid in the wine. This would pair with so many foods excellently, but it's great to drink on it's own.

Clear morning urine color. Outrageous nose of tart pineapple, wild honey, roasted nuts and frozen lemon. Unmistakable savagnin palate with intense tartness tempered by fresh savory flavors. This wine has the oxidation lingering in the background, but always informing the taste. It finishes strong and matches the palate, not even slightly hot despite unusually high alcohol (14%). While not exactly suitable for gulping, very much like a less concentrated Vin Jaune. Went great with some flavorful sushi and tempura.

Darker yellow color. Dried apricots, pistachio, sea salt, a little bit of petrol (?). Walnuts and pistachio came out as the bottle stayed open for a while. A bit thin on the mid-palate, but an intriguing example of the Jura style.

Oxidized (in a good sense) and more like a light fino than anything else. lovely aperitif wine.
