(89+) The nose on this stuff is always awesome. Viscous, heady sherry notes, nail and hair salons, spiced/roasted nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans). In the mouth it's almost too round and flat on the attack, though it gives way to nice honeyed walnut skins. Not quite enough acid towards the back for my taste - just a little more would be nice to equalize the thickness this wine brings... but it's good nonetheless. 14.5% alc not a problem.

Dark gold in color. Incredibly intense nose of acetone, nut or banana liqueur and some other stuff. Heavy and oily in the mouth, with big (I'm salivating as I write this) lemony acid that drives the finish. All of that acid will probably make this last a while.

Classic Savagnin - one quick smell and you know just what this is. Strong sherry aromas and initial taste mellowed by a lemon zing on the palate and finish. Really good now, but should hold and mellow for some time.

Almost tannic. I like the bright fruit on top of typical oxidized jura notes. I think this could age a long time.
