At tasting. Brief note. This was a big to-do watching this get opened under water to disgorge the lees. Nose and palate are intensely ready and yeasty with plenty of lemon confit, bitter cherry pit and liquid slate. Great acidity and fine perlage and mousse lend a nice mouthful to the midpalate. Finish is medium (+) and very pleasurable. Very cool to try.

big fun disgorging this (although not as exciting as sabrage), we disgorged the lees under water and enjoyed this complex wine. Light mousse, brilliant gold, some bread, apple and fruits emerge and it gains complexity with warming. Vinous and complex beyond the bubbles - it must have gained complexity with all that time on the lees. Excellent with cheeses

Very mineral and wet stone on the nose. Wild herb. On the palate touches of milk chocolate, brioche and toast, lots power but also delicate and elegant. Finishes harmoniously if maybe not grandly. Great sparkling wine.

Big and biscuit and somewhat off putting, or crazy, put in a way that makes you want to have more, and more. Which I believe means it may be great. In a ardent room of wine drinkers its being referred to as "bonkers". And then lots of mineral salts.

This Puro was the first traditional method sparkler from Slovenia, I have ever tried and what a wine it was! Very appley and green fruit aromas complemented by peachy juiciness apparently coming from the lees which are still there in the bottle - this wine never gets disgorged! Crazy, but absolutely adorable. Noticed it at Linea d'Ombra in Venice and ordered of course. You learn every day. Cheers!
