Deep ruby with purple hue. Dark florals on the nose, with charcuterie, cassis, rocket leaves, cloves, cinnamon. Tight at first, but softens upon breathing, revealing similar flavours blackberry and cassis reminiscent from the nose, then leaves, pepper spices and cinnamon, then coffee. Very long, and complex. Great wine, with lots of ageing potential

Parker 100 pointer blind tasting set. TN to follow. Deep purple, Full throttle on the nose, Metallica, big speakers and someone has turned up the volume. Outch, a bruiser, everything is 200%. Lots of licorice and dark fruit, lots of Alc. Clearly from a warm place, I guessed Barossa. I had 25 year old Astralis and they can be stunning, like a port wine without sugar and fortification. If this is your thing, go for this as the vineyard work and wine making quality is good. Too heavy for my palate though.

Solid. Not worth the price point IMO.
