  Darker fruit here than in the 2013. And more power and body. Some woody notes and sharp tannins that suggest further cellaring. Impressive wine, anyway.

  Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow": Vino Nobili di Montepulciano (@ The factory by JdB): In the complex bouquet beautiful dark berries, sweet spices, coffee and earth. On the palate chocolate, beautiful medium + acidity and sticky tannin. Elegance and a good length.

  Amazing how it developed! Bold but elegant structure. Great balance of tannins and fruit - dark cherry, plum but also leather. Great window to drink although it might be even more elegant in two to three years!

An unusually flowing wine for Vino Nobile, even though it is big and burly too, warmth from the wood on the palate, firm hit of tannins on the finish.

  Dette er topprodusenten i Montepulciano og druene kommer fra en enkeltvinmark som 280-350 meter over havet. Vinen lages kun i de beste årgangene på 100% Sangiovese som er modnet på store franske eikeliggere.
  
  Vinen viser en saftig og dyp duft med herlige røde bær, litt rå morgendugg og lett trøffel. En herlig spiss kryddertone er også forførende. En fyldig vin med herlig saftig frukt med kirsebær og litt lær. Gir en fin linær følelse i gjennom smakskurven. Også bra mineraliet. Tanninene er merkbart faste og vil sørge for lang levetid. Flott vin.
