Drank over 4 days, and was better, more developed, on later days. So I think this can still age to advantage. Still nothing special, mind. Maybe I should hang onto my last couple of bottles for a while.

That jamminess I experienced a year ago has dissipated. Showing a bit more interest and complexity, even a chocolatey aspect. Pleasant enough drink. But not really up to the quality of a Crozes you can get for the same money.
In fact 1 year wait from the last one I opened was enough to push it into reasonable drinking condition, for my taste. I had intended to wait a bit longer. But it got opened due to extenuating circumstances of being asked by my wife to supply 6 "reasonably nice bottles I would be unashamed to serve", not realising I was provisioning my own birthday party.

Expected more chocolate. The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like fig and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Fresh with some tannins in the background. Medium + body and was better after some air +1h. Nice

Great stuff - losing its power a little. Don’t wait too long with the 2017s.
