  • Brought this to a wine dinner at Phoenix Garden (Ngee Ann City). Theme of the Evening: Langton's Exceptional Cabernet Dinner. Wines were served two at a time for comparison and contrast.

Pale straw gold in colour. Has grace and charm, with light notes of prunes and unripe pineapples. As compared to the 2018 Cloudburst Chardonnay, this wine behaves like a delicate, shy lady who sashays her way effortlessly around the room, charming all at the dining table with her grace and charm.

Some changes. A little more round and fruity. Absolutely delicious. Drink now or hold. Yum!

  • It's been awhile and it was time to revisit. Same notes as last time but much more integrated. Absolutely delicious now.
    Case worthy wine.

  • Brought a bottle to Bedrock Origins (Oasia Resort Sentosa) for lunch with my family on our staycation.

Pale gold in colour with a burst of flavours on the nose and palate; white elder flowers followed by white stone fruits; fresh green apples, fresh minerals, pears, melons, good intensity, texture and structure.

A very good to great Chardonnay. Will keep the next bottle for the next special occasion.

  • Essentially two years on since I first tried it. This time around it is more developed but more intense - for me, I now get a lot more oak flavours coming through and the fruit has dropped off a little. Maybe I have not stored my bottle perfectly, but it is definitely developing tertiary at this stage. Anyone else noticing less fruit since 2019? Still bloody delicious!
