Up the PCH; 6/4/2019-6/16/2019 (Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Paso Robles, Napa, and Willamette): Highlight of the tasting at Dierberg. It had been opened since the day before at 4pm. It had this amazing mixed berry/purple skittles nose that I could literally smell all day. Was actually more impressed with this than the 2014 Astral tasted later. Picked up a bottle to ship home alongside 4 SBs and a winery-only rose.
83% CS, 7% Merlot, 7% CF, with the remaining malbec & PV.
