Jadot Chambertin-Clos de Beze Dinner (12 vintages) (Primehouse - Chicago IL): Tasted single blind. I wanted to include this in the lineup because...after all...no 1994s can be good, right?!?! Lots of forward red fruit and underbrush aromas with modest spice. A well made wine with structure proportionate with everything else.

LdC Jadot Clos de Beze Vertical (Primehouse): Blind. Medium ruby crimson red color. forward nose of purple fruit with a hint of a canned note and dusty briar as well. Medium spicy red fruit on the palate, but a bit angular. Decent for a 94 but at the lower end of the spectrum.
