  Tasted vis-a-vis the Rostaing, this is the more classic Condrieu-wine - and superior IMHO. On day 1 quite exotic, tell-tall mango, confit d'orange, melon, citrus etc., a bit more calm on day, speaks of potential, I think. Will wait a couple of years before trying the next one.

  Classic exotic and pear, good acidity. lacking lift and depth. Medium finish, hints of complexity. Think it would have been better when younger. I have come to realise that all but the very best Condrieu are best drunk young, i.e. within the first 3 to 4 years.

  Light yellow. Nose is rich and generous, with deep floral and somewhat mineral notes, as well as peaches, apricots, melon, some violets and a touch of nutmeg. Mouthfeel is round, rich, full bodied, floral, somewhat mineral with moderate acidity and notes of peaches, apricots, melon, some violets and a touch of nutmeg on the very long finish.
  
  This is a bold and full bodied wine, yet still elegant, fresh and vibrant. It's decadent and flamboyant, but very well balanced. This is just delicious!
