Super Bowl LVIII 2024 (Alpharetta, GA): Cellar Diving: Wow! This was delicious and a perfect pairing with dessert which was Tirmasu. It was like drinking a bottle of liquid caramel.

Super Bowl 2021 (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Very dark color; apricot, oxidized fruit, orange apricot and peach marmelade, sun tea, so viscous it's crazy, very impressive, super sweet but really good in small amounts.

(Winery visit: aka Vinsangiusto) Wow, explosive nose, full of dried apricots, marmalade, golden raisins, toffee bits, pralines, etc. But it’s on the palate that this really impresses, managing to cleanly lift away all of the sweetness – nearly 500 grams of residual sugar per liter. Astounding. The wine finishes cleanly, not cloying like pancake syrup in any way. That said, this is a wine to drink slowly and in tiny sips, with good conversations and perhaps some well-chosen cheeses, or nuts. Drink thru 2039, at least. Half bottles, only, iirc. highly recommended/***
Served non-blind.

VinItaly Day 4 (Verona, Italy): 93% Malvasia, 7% Trebbiano, grapes dried for 120 days, aged 6 years in small chestnut barrels 60-75-120L, lost 55% of liquid in that time, 9.13% ABV, 5.18 g/L of acidity, 3.86 pH, ****468g/L of sugar!!!****** Amber with pale rim, pours like syrup; lots of white raisin, orange marmalade, honey, caramel; extremely viscous, honey galore, strong, powerful stuff, take in small doses; an almost perfect bottle of wine that grabs your attention, had to find out what the g/L were when I tasted; need to get some but I know it ain't cheap, only 1,800 375mL bottles made.
