  • This is another second wine for me. This time from the prestigious 4th Growth Cru Classé. Let's see what it can deliver to my senses
    2 hours in the decanter.
Lovely vibrant aromas of minerals, graphite, tobacco and somewhere between red cherry.
Taste. Lovely flavors of red cherry with a lot of tobacco ( too much for me), minerals and a lot of spice
Long finish with red cherry and spice
    Very good acidity and tannins.
It sounds like this is simple wine. But it's full of balance, harmony, happiness
    You know what I mean.
    Third glass.
What a lovely juicy ripe red cherry. The finish seems to be longer with each sip.
    Hmmm... it's only 13.5 ABV 😎

    2016 got 97 points in St.Julien!
Extraordinary. Still tannic, youthful or slow to mature.

  • This was ok but not great - although it does show some nice characteristics I would say it’s lacking in complexity and quite bland compared to other wines I have tasted recently - hopefully it will improve as this was the first bottle from a case of 6

  • Deep ruby colour. Pronounced and developing nose with blackcurrant, green bell pepper, black pepper, vanilla, cloves, cedar, leather, tobacco, forest floor and pencil. Pronounced taste of blackcurrant, green bell pepper, black pepper, vanilla, cloves, leather, tobacco and pencil. Long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Medium body. A very good 2nd wine from St. Julien. Drink now or over the next ten years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

  • Ruby red color.
Medium in body. The longer it open the fruity it is.
    Taste like vinegar.

  • Décanté 3 heures.

Absolument délicieux cette longue bouche. Le nez est extatique. Prêt à boire et à reboire.

Vrai qu'il faut verser lentement afin que les dépôts restent dans la carafe. Mais pas en grande quantité.
