  Nose: black fruits, nail polish, game, forrest floor, chocolate, mocha, musky
  Notes: This wine feels a bit over extracted and a little too strong right now. At some point this felt like a young Bordeaux which frankly speaking is a big disappointment for a maker at this calibre. This may be too young for sure but I failed to see the elegance and finesse in this wine. Probably should only resample this after 2030 with the slightest hope that this is not what it's supposed to be.

  Red and black cherry fruit, greenbriar-stemmy-forest floor notes, med+ tannin and med acid. 13% Alc.
  
  OK, wow. This reminded me of Mugneret Gibourg: A delicious, subtle and balanced glass that held its own on a table with 98, 13 Groffier Amoureuses and 01 de Vogue declassified Musigny.

  No detailed note made. This was served alongside Grivot's Clos de Vougeot from the same year, and it held its own (or was even better!). Very pretty and open wine, a bit darker in style than the Feusselottes we had end of last year.

  BYOB dinner and then some; 2/1/2024-2/2/2024 (Avalon, Amsterdam): [Tasted blind] Tasted next to Grivot’s Clos Vougeot from the same vintage. This was very, very good, although not the ethereal experience I had hoped for (maybe a another cuvee some time). Medium+ intensity on the nose with initially some broth notes which blew off quickly, great red fruit and cherries, elegant oak, light touch of black current, roses, floral. It is the palate that made this wine, not by the flavors, but the weightless, velvety, elegant feeling. So elegant and seductive. 93-94
