  • Popped & Poured at Acquerello restaurant in S.F., this wine had a deep red center and red rims. The high intensity nose showed a bit of excess alcohol at first but this seemed to blow off with air. It showed dried cherries, wax, camphor, and plums.

In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with nice fruit and firm but rounded tannin. Give this as much decanter time as you can. It is a nice wine, but of course, it will never be mind blowing.
