Jeez, anything short of a 93 and yr not seeing this. Dark cherry, crisco-laced blueberry aromas, no tannin. Medium acid. Color is opaque with a Rudy edge. Doesn’t get purple tinted, but at the cusp there of. shows light new oak to the palate in a modestly roasty way

Good but a little young. Nice fruit density and balance, good acidity. I didn't notice any wood. I'd say it will really open up with just a bit of aging 18-36 months.

luscious ripe dark fruit on the nose, dark cherry, plum, wild blueberry, lots of lifted spice... on the palate it is unctuous and tangy at once, lots of tannin for Barbera, almost velvety, it will soften nicely in a year or two... spicy and thick on the finish, fresh and tangy, but it really saturates and coats, oak spice pops a little on the finish. Very impressive Barbera, but I would prefer something a little more elegant. Doesn't matter though, many will find this absolutely fabulous and irresistible... should be worth following at least 5 years.

Purchased at the vineyard. Color is dark red and purple. Upon opening it had a lot of fresh fruit and is definitely in the younger side. Could benefit from at least five more years. Overall a pleasure to drink with homemade short rib pasta.

single plot barbera, big firm tannins still slightly overpowering the fruit which is there just needs more time!
