Classic Barolo. Still primary fruit, tar, rose, rasberry, wild strawberry. Still too young. Good fruit cocentration, fine-grained tannins, and long finish. Bought a case together with Marenca at winery in 2019. At that time, surprisingly the Marenca performed better, but now it seems like the Marghereria is catching up and outperforms the Marenca. Great wines both. Keep in cellar for another 3 years, and drink over 10 years+. Rating maybe a bit conservative with regards to potential.

Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Needs time. Medium ruby color. A serious wine. High acid. Some floral notes. Gritty drying tannins on the palate. Cherry fruit. Very persistent on the palate.

Aroma: floral and cherry aromas with a hint of cough syrup. Roses and violets. Palate: nicely balanced savory and fruit flavors: herbs, nuts, meat, cherry, strawberry and blackberry. Moderate tannin and low to moderate acidity. Good structure and complexity. Approachable now but should age well.

From Vivino at the winery: Very Dry, round and tannic, bold acidity, less floral and fruit. Considered more elegant. from 69 year old vines. 3.5
