  Mid to full straw. Slightly creamy, some hint of Sauvignon but quite subdued. Quite minerally but with a slightly curious smokey edge. Quite ripe though the style does restrain it, but nonetheless it lacks focus and precision. Ok at best and not quite as good as the previous (equally ok, but...) bottle. **1/2

  Grosse deception, aucune expression au nez et une bouche tres droite sans grande complexité. Moment d'évolution fermé ou bien defaut ? l'avenir le diras

  13.5% alcohol by volume. Perhaps should have opened a couple years sooner. Medium-gold color with transparency. Doesn't seem to be distorted by the extremely warm vintage in Europe. Plenty of mineral texture. Some quince and citrus. Tingly sensation on the finish. Oak storage? I had to remind myself that I was drinking Sauvignon Blanc, not Chardonnay. Second day brought a hint of sherry (oxidation?) but was still quite an enjoyable wine. Quite rich tasting without being flabby.
