Slightly murky strawberry red. Not much on the nose. Bright and sharp on the palate with strawberry notes. The alcohol is obvious (14.6% ABV). Sharp tannins, overly acidic, bit out of balance. Finishes moderately long with faint strawberry note. Not totally shot, but well past prime.

Typical very dark color. Nothing on the nose but a touch of heat. Very tight cherry tone, almost gone. Strong acidity and not much structure. Finishes with abundant metallic taste. Sorry but not a very good wine at this point.

Popped and poured. Had been holding on to this for a while and finally got to it. Would not say it is over the hill at all--not by a long shot, but this was not my favorite Siduri. Had the classic Sta Rita Hills nose, but on the palate was a bit disjointed and hot. Tons of fruit still there (not my favorite characteristic in a pinot). Mid-palate firm but hot, medium finish. Good, but not my style, even for Siduri.

This is still hanging in there with a nice nose and rich mid palate.

Seemed to be in an awkward stage between fruit and secondary complexity.
