  • Here I am again nearly 12 months after the last bottle. Enclosure is still a screw cap :). Pale garnet. Med intensity on the nose. Earthy tertiary notes on the nose with spice, vanilla, cherry, red fruit, maybe some strawberry. Becoming jammy. All promising. On the palate the body is med(+), intensity pronounced, high acidity and med(fine) tannin. A long finish, carried by acidity and a disappointing slight bitterness. Needs drinking imho, so lucky me!

  • Screw cap enclosure. Pale garnet. Low intensity nose yeilding sweet spice, vanilla, cedar, red fruit jam, smoke, cherry, strawberry, leather. So tertiary notes are developing. Med body, dry, med(+) tannin, med(+) intensity, med(+) acidity. It’s complex and drinking well depending on how your like your PN. The balance is slightly off: the tannins are a bit grippy and obvious. The finish seems to run in tandem with acidity - that said, it’s got decent length. Maybe slightly past its best, for me anyrate.

  • A little darker in color than some, but nose of red fruit, some minerality and savoriness, along with some herbs and spice. The palate is juicy with lots acidic zip, but there’s also a savory side to it with some spice and mint.
