Was disappointed in this wine. It was rather flat and boring. In hindsight it should have probably been decanted? Color was very light considering it was 12 years old. Certainly didn’t live up to some of the other notes listed below.

Drank at 67 Wow. Take some time and allow it to decant for a couple of hours. This is an incredible beauty with an amazing attack and length. Wonderful stuff that you find hard to drink as the nose is so lovely. Yum Yum

A big disappointment. Ripe, oaky, and monolithic with intense buttery and toasty flavours framing ripe citrus and orchard fruit notes, and a rather heavy handed palate presence that feels quite clumsy in contrast to the much more graceful Bonneau du Martray and Leflaive wines poured before/after. The acidity here is moderate at best and it feels rather dull and blocky on the palate, finishing with impressive length but with the oak again making a stronger imprint than the fruit or mineral elements.

Absolutely my dry white wine of the year. Golden color, with explosive nose. Butter-scotch, lilac, lemon peel, pop-corn, nuts, vanilla and a lot of ripe stone fruit notes. Served at room temperature, it didn't lose its freshness, and became more and more expressive. The palate was full, with a little bit of sweetness, the nutty and buttery finish was just loooooooooooong! Bravo!
