Disappointed again with anything with a 20xx date. Premoxed very golden color. Pungent and not to pleasant. I would not like to leave this bottle sitting around, have someone pick it up, taste it and say…”this is a representation of montrachet ?” So I dumped it out.

Second bottle from same order/lot. But it was more advanced/oxidised. Was drinkable but more more golden and more pungent but still had some lemon and minerality showing through. Amazing how same order same storage etc can be markedly different. Recommended

A little golden and first sips were pungent but then it evolved into a nice safe montrachet. Lemon curd, crushed rock And A lingering finish. Silky mouthfeel. Well done Louis Latour. Highly recommended

Not the most complex Montrachet I have had, but certainly good given the price point. Would not hesitate to pop another one, but certainly has the bones to age longer and will most likely gain some complexity. As with the 08 vintage, more tropical fruit than normal, with good acidity to balance it out. Good showing

8th Annual QoA Fundraising Dinner (Chez Nanda): Great richness and Grand Cru density, but missing that something special.
