Red berries, cured meat, violet, rosemary, and thyme. Fullbodied, with massive, suedelike tannins, but equally dense fruit and juicy acidity. Dry finish. Drink now - 2028

Very nice chianti. Fully mature, but not OTT. Smooth and balanced, lower apparent acidity than most chianti.

First time trying this Panzano producer.
Very pure red to dark cherry nose with a little terracotta, tobacco and mint.
Nice and fresh on the palate with tangy red cherry and a super moreish tongue smacking finish. Lovely stuff.

Very good wine. Very typical varietal purple-ish color. Nice acidity, red cherries, tons of floral notes. Slightly dusty and nutty character mid-palate. Finishes long with nice grippy tannins. Goes great with rich pasta dishes.
