White flowers, crushed rock, stone fruit and citrus. It has an immediate mid-palate attack with high acid and salty minerals. Unbelievably precise and acidic for a 2018, in fact it tastes more like a 2017. Excellent pc.

Barrel/Tank Tasting at Domaine Jacques Carillon (Puligny Montrachet): Similar to the Champ Canet, this is showy and expressive. More chalk and stoniness in the aroma along with intense florals. Powerful fruit on the palate that serious richness and concentration. This will benefit from 5+ years in the cellar. 92-93+

Burgundy, Day 4 (Beaune, France): Tank sample. The nose here is more floral, and there seems to be a bit more of a rocky minerality on the palate here. Nonetheless, this remains a very linear and precise wine, with plenty of freshness.

Chalky, reductive and stony with nice minerality on the palate. More 2017 than 2018 for the acidity profile.

Intense smoky mineral nose. Dense white peach palate. Sappy mouthfeel, concentrated and long.
