No detailed notes taken. This had some great moments and traits with superb, alluring red berries at the core, good complexity and precision nd ultra fine tannins. But in the end, this is no success as the 2018 vintage shows brutally: a bit too ripe, too dense but especially quite some alcohol heat on the nose and palate. 91pts at best.

Nice and long finish. An elegant, precise and detailed wine. precise Sour cherry and red cherry fruit. Meaty aromas and fine floral accents. Grounded by wet earth and underwood. Very present red cherry fruit on the palate, fresh acidity and decent length finish while still tangible tannin. Kept 1/4 of the bottle for next day which helped to smoothen the palate and emphasize the elegance.

Opened at the All-Star Dinner by Zachy's in HK. P&P and bottle breathed, small glass sample.
This is a big wine, and it was definitely way too young to drink this. Reductive aromatics, but with a bit of air you can coax some red and blue fruit coming out. Silky smooth on the palate and the tannins are present but not unpleasant - Roumier magic I suppose at this young age.
I'd hold and revisit in at least 5+ years, probably even longer. Scored as is now but definite upside and expect this to creep up.

Dark and brooding throughout the night. Nose of stems, strawberries, slight herbal and herbaceous lift. PnP palate showed tight and bold, with brambly black fruit. With a hour, opened up to more of that signature velvety goodness and silky mouthfeel with some dark red fruits - the sweet spot was right here.
The second half of the bottle was decanted for 2 hours. With that came out more cherry cola and black licorice, big black cherries, with some damp earthiness. After another hour, it mellowed out into a really good spot. 94 today (2017 vintage from September was showing better), but brimming with potential (95+)
